About the role: We are currently looking for experienced, committed, and compassionate support workers to provide one-to-one support services to a female client needing assistance with personal care, manual handling etc. in our newly established SDA/SIL accommodation in Point Cook, Victoria. Our purpose is to help participants recover, rejuvenate and recalibrate in every way through a transdisciplinary approach. What are we looking for? - Minimum 1+ years' prior experience in provision of one-to-one support for people from the mental health or community services sectors, working with complex clients.
- Experience with supporting individuals who have mental health and physical disabilities.
- Demonstrated experience supporting challenging behaviours (highly valued)
- Willingness to support clients with personal care including showering, manual handling, medications, community access, meal preparation, domestic chores and mealtime assistance.
- Demonstrable communication skills including report writing, case note writing.
- Must be available to work 20+ hours per week and able to work a rotating roster including sleepover shifts.

Mandatory Requirement - - Certificate III or above in Disability Support or similar
- Valid Victorian Driver’s License
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Manual Handling certificate
- Medication Administration certificate
- Victorian Working with Children’s Check
- National Police Check (obtained within last 6 months)
