About the role:

We are currently looking for experienced, committed, and compassionate disability support workers to provide respite services in our newly established SIL accommodation in Junction Village, Victoria.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 1+ years experience within the disability, community services or similar in assisting clients with high care physical requirements.
• Experience working with non-verbal clients having Intellectual disability, Cerebral Palsy, ASD & epilepsy.
• Demonstrated experience supporting challenging behaviours (highly valued)
• Willingness to support clients with personal care including showering, manual handling, medications, community access, meal preparation, domestic chores and mealtime assistance.
• Certificate III or above in Disability Support or similar
• Must be available to work 20+ hours per week and able to work a rotating roster including sleepover shifts & active nights. 

Mandatory Requirement -

• Valid Victorian Driver’s License 
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR
• Manual Handling certificate 
• Medication Administration certificate
• Victorian Working with Children’s Check
• National Police Check (obtained within last 6 months)
