ICT Business Analyst
Eight Mile Plains, QLD 4113

Operating within the Mission, Vision, and Values of Cocoon SDA Care, the purpose of this role is to play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our organization's operations. You will work closely with the compliance team to identify business operational gaps, analyse processes, and provide data-driven insights and solutions to improve service delivery and support NDIS participants.

Main tasks Core objectives include: 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with NDIS regulations and guidelines. 
  • Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes and systems. 
  • Analyse existing workflows and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance. 
  • Recommend and assist in implementing process improvements. 
  • Work with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems or enhancements into existing technology infrastructure. 
  • Develop test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of new processes and systems. 
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, requirements, and solutions. 
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS documentation and reporting standards. 
  • Stay up-to-date with NDIS policies, guidelines, and regulations, and ensure that business processes and systems remain compliant. 
  • Conduct of organisations operational internal auditing. 
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures align with NDIS requirements. 
  • Evaluating the design and operating effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls. 
  • Identify control gaps and recommend appropriate mitigating actions. 
  • Participate in regular team meetings. 
  • Carry out duties/activities in a cooperative, respectful and flexible manner. 
  • Gathering effective evidence for audit. 
  • Receive, document, and categorise complaints from NDIS participants, representative and other stakeholders. 
  • Develop solutions and action plans to address complaints, striving for fair and equitable resolutions. 
  • Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into complaints to identify root causes. 
  • Providing advice to our stakeholders in formulating appropriate corrective actions

Mandatory requirement

  • 6 months experience 
  • Certificate III in Disability, or Individual Support or equivalent 
  • First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willing to obtain. 
  • NDIS workers Screening Checks
  • Current Driver’s License (mandatory).
