As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team. Position Overview: We are excited to announce an opening for a Recruitment Consultant who will work at Cocoon SDA Care, a leading provider of specialist disability accommodation (SDA) and personalised care services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This role is pivotal in managing the full recruitment cycle, ensuring we maintain our high standards of care and support for individuals with disabilities. The position will also involve HR (human resources) responsibilities for Cocoon International College. Tasks & responsibilities - Coordinate and manage job vacancy advertisements across various platforms.
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and selection processes to identify suitable candidates.
- Maintain accurate personnel files and human resource information systems.
- Assist in handling disciplinary issues, employee grievances, and dispute resolution.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires, helping them integrate into the organisation.
- Share current job vacancy details within the organisation, connecting department head with qualified job seekers.
- Negotiate employment terms, including wages, contracts, and working conditions.
- Review and interpret employment laws, awards, contracts, and wage systems.
- Develop, plan, and draft enterprise agreements or collective contracts.
- Supervise the establishment and functioning of workplace consultative committees.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring compliance with RTO guidelines.
- Administer and optimise HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other business systems.
- Manage employee relations, address concerns, and promote a positive work culture.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within HR and business systems.
- Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, training records, and performance evaluations.
- Implement document control procedures to ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations.
Qualifications and Experience - Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Should have one (1) to two (2) years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in healthcare or disability services.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
- Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting inclusive practices.
Benefits & Remuneration - Salary commensurate with experience. $80,000 to $95,000 plus guaranteed superannuation.
