About the role

We are looking for support workers who have industry experience, manual handling skills and the following attributes:  

• Experience managing participants who require support with complex care and high physical needs. 
• Experience in working with young adults with Autism.
• Assistance with cooking participants favourite meals.
• Proactive in engaging in activities
• If you have the passion for supporting individuals to realise their full potential, make choices and be in control of the decisions that affect their lives, this could be the opportunity for you.

• We are seeking Casual Disability Support Workers who has experience in supporting participants with highly complex needs.  
• You will work in Supported Disability Accommodation to support those with medical needs and manual handling requirements to live in an environment that maximises personal growth and independence.

Mandatory Onboarding Documents:

• • Cert III in Disability Services or 12months experience  
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check 
  • NDIS Orientation module (NDIS Quality Safety & You)
  • Working with Children Check (underage participants only)
  • Driver’s Licence
  • Car Insurance
  • Reliable vehicle

Requisites:

• • Must be available for sleep over shifts.  
  • At least 1 year as a DSW in NDIS sector 
  • Must have current CPR and First Aid and practice
